Century High school is where Jenny goes.
Some Oregon Zoo photos from June 11th
The little short haired Asian pigs are new. Babirusa pigs, they call them. They're real young, but are supposed to get 2 pairs of long tusks when they get older. The hairy wart hogs are in the pen next to them.
the zoo has a 2 minute video on their website here of the little Babarusas.
On the June 24th, Sarah and I went to the zoo armed only with a video camera. Here are some of my videos on my YouTube page. The fruit bats have been a lot more popular than the other videos. By the way, I'm using my online name, for anonymity purposes.
They put a big pile of sand in the elephant's pen, and they were lying in it. It's the first time I've seen elephants lie down.
The little "toys" above are in the Elephant Museum at the zoo.
The black bear exhibit has a big sheet of glass separating us from the animals. It's nice to see them up close to the glass, but next to impossible to take a good photo. These were taken from above the exhibit with my 8x zoom.
The two matching grizzlys are at the zoo store. And the last one is inside the train tunnel.
This is the new lawn mower. The other one died, but hopefully will get turned into a tractor / ATV.
These photos are of Nan's garden. We were trying to get some artsy shots.
Rhonda's flowers out front of our house. Sarah went to a movie theater for the first time. They had a big setup for The Simpsons movie, and Jenny took this photo with her cell phone. pretty nice photo for a phone!
