Photos from Labor Day. We went to our picnic area and had a good time in the nice weather.

Sarah and I picked a bunch of blackberries to top our Vanilla ice cream. yummy!

Sarah demonstrates her wide range of expresson.

Jenny's latest school photo

Portland Marathon photos that I grabbed off their website. I'm in each of these, but you might have to look carefully. At the start, I'm at the lower left.

For Rhonda's birthday (Oct 13th), we spent the weekend at the beach. Manzanita, Seaside, and then Fort Clatsop State Park near Warrenton.

This nice bronze statue is inside the visitor's center. The dog is sniffing at a flounder. The indian is wearing a Thomas Jefferson medalion, and the entire statue was difficult to photograph because of the window behind it.

This is the first we've seen of the newly built fort. The one built in the '50s burned down a few years ago. This one has a nice new wood smell to it. Craig and I saw the outside of it a year or year and a half ago, but it wasn't finished and was all roped off.
Sarah's acting silly in the fireplace.

The burlap fence looks better than velvet rope or yellow caution tape I guess. The photo on the left shows the phone booth where Clark changes into his superman outfit. Or was that Lois and Clark? (it's actually a little sentry booth)
Sarah is sitting on what looks like an exercise bike. I couldn't figure out what it was used for.
the next photo shows Lewis' and Clark's room. I don't know what the jaw bone was all about.

Jenny went to her Homecoming Dance.

The weekend before Halloween, the zoo put up some decorations.

Look closely and you can see that the little babirusa pigs are starting to get their tusks. They're breaking through the skin above the nose.

Sarah's preschool went to a local pumpkin patch.

Heading out the door to Trick or Treat.
